upCampo’s founder served as a judge on a project panel at Univest — Centro Universitário, in Cuiabá, helping evaluate work in the field of Science and Technology.

His participation strengthens the connection between the academic community and the development of solutions for agribusiness, while bringing hands-on field experience closer to the training of new professionals.

upCampo’s own story began in this environment. The company grew out of a graduate project that evolved from an app for pest scouting into a complete farm operations management platform.

During the panel, the founder sat alongside other judges, fostering a rich exchange of perspectives and contributing to the development of the projects presented.

The experience also highlighted the importance of initiatives that encourage innovation from the ground up, supporting students as they develop ideas and solutions that may shape the future of the sector.

upCampo remains connected to this movement, valuing education, innovation, and a stronger ecosystem that drives agriculture forward.

We keep encouraging new ideas and building the future of farming.
