upCampo debuts as an exhibitor at the 15th Brazilian Cotton Congress

upCampo exhibited for the first time at the 15th Brazilian Cotton Congress, held September 22–24, 2026, at Expominas in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais state). It was three days of conversations: we welcomed clients who already use the platform and met new farms.

The Congress lived up to expectations as the best-organized event in the sector. Registration, the exhibitor area, the plenary and the themed rooms ran smoothly from the first day to the last, and the audience was exactly the people who live cotton — growers, managers, agronomists and consultants.

Little management technology on the floor

Only four exhibitors were software technology companies, and upCampo was one of them. Debuting in that group, at the main gathering of Brazilian cotton growing, was a win for the company — and it shows how much room there still is to bring organized management to cotton operations.

At the opening, Abrapa president Gustavo Piccoli raised points of attention for the season, with special weight on cost and management. That is the conversation upCampo has with growers every day: knowing where the cost is and deciding with organized field data.

What drew the most attention at the booth

We showed the cotton operation from pest scouting to the registered bale. Two topics dominated the conversations:

• Node-by-node plant mapping. In the same survey where they count pests, scouts measure the plant: height, nodes, squares, bolls by position and open bolls. It is the reproductive node mapping cotton growers use to follow the crop and estimate yield.
• UPí, upCampo’s artificial intelligence. Visitors saw what it is like to ask on WhatsApp about yield, cost and inventory and get the answer from the farm’s own data.
